Deskripsi Peran
This is a freelance contract remote role for an Academic Tutor (Freelance). The Academic Tutor will be responsible for guiding university students (undergraduate and postgraduate) through their most critical academic projects. Rather than traditional tutoring, you will act as a dedicated mentor and consultant, providing expert guidance on thesis, dissertation, and other academic research projects.

- Conducting one-on-one online consulting sessions to guide students through the entire research process, from topic formulation and methodology design to data analysis and preparation for their final academic defense.
- Providing constructive, in-depth feedback on students' written work, focusing on structure, argumentation, academic rigor, and clarity.
- Fostering students' critical thinking, academic writing, and problem-solving skills through a supportive and solution-oriented mentoring approach.
Kualifikasi
Persyaratan Utama
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree (S1) or currently enrolled in Master's (S2) program from a reputable university.
- Proven experience in having successfully completed a personal thesis and/or dissertation is mandatory.
- A genuine passion for teaching and fostering student success, aligning with Maubisa's supportive vision.
Keahlian Teknis
- Strong proficiency in research methodologies, including both qualitative and quantitative approaches.
- Demonstrated expertise in at least one statistical software (e.g., SPSS, Stata, Eviews) and/or data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R).
- Proficiency with citation management software (e.g., Mendeley, Zotero) and a strong command of academic writing standards.
Nilai Tambah (Opsional)
- Previous publications in academic journals or conferences.
- Experience as a teaching assistant, research assistant, or academic supervisor at a university.
- Experience working with postgraduate (S2/S3) students.
